Mandatory sections

How do I define parts of the learning path as mandatory?

1) Select "Structure: Sections and content" in the content tab.

2) Then select the option "Track progress and enable step-by-step access".

3) The new content structure can now be defined individually for each section via "Expand".

4) Simply mark the desired sections as mandatory or remove the "mandatory" mark from the remaining sections. Mandatory sections are marked with an exclamation mark.
